Well, no story really behind this one. I just love flatbread and how easy it is to make. This recipe is leavened (has a raising agent) where most flatbreads are unleavened (no raising agent). This particular one can be in the same family as pita bread. Call it what you want ,its flatbread to me and its darn delicious 😋…

Ingredients for Flatbread

• ⅔cup lukewarm milk

• ⅔cup lukewarm water

• 1 tbsp yeast

• 3 ½ cup flour

• 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix water ,milk and yeast . Let it sit for 10minutes .
  2. Add flour and mix together . Then add the olive oil .
  3. Knead the dough and roll into a ball. Place in a bowl and cover . Let it rise for about an hour .
  4. Knock down the dough and portion roll into required sisized roll out till flat.
  5. Heat up your pan . Place the flttened dough and let it cook till it starts to look golden Toasted. Turn over and cook other side. Place on rack and brush with some hern and garlic butter .
  6. serve warm with any side dish of your choice. Try a good curry with these . Enjoy 😉
