So I have been seeing this trend all over the Internet about mayonnaise marinated chicken and I got curious. I tried it out and I must say I liked it a lot ! You can always switch it up with your own flavour of spices but I kept it simple. You can have the option of deep frying your chicken but it comes out even better if you bake them (less greasy). Just watch your temperature depending with your oven. Mine gets super hot sometimes, so I am always switching around the temperature 🌡. Try it out and let me know in the comments what you think.. Ingredients
- 6 -8 chicken drumsticks or thighs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons regular mustard
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 Teaspoon mixed herbs
- 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 °C
- Mix the mayonnaise and mustard together in a small bowl. Mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, spices together, place the mixture on a plate.
- Using a pastry brush or your hands to coat the drumsticks or thighs liberally with the mayonnaise/mustard mixture. Roll the coated chicken in the crumb mixture and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 180°C for one hour or until done. Serve and enjoy !
